Viscom Inc. to Showcase Latest AI-Powered Inspection Solutions at SMTA Mexico 2026

Duluth, August 24th, 2026 – Viscom Inc., will present its latest AI-powered inspection solutions at SMTA Mexico 2026, taking place from October 7–8 at the Expo Guadalajara Salón Jalisco. At Booth: #343 visitors can discover how Viscom combines AI, advanced software, and proven inspection technology to simplify production processes, increase efficiency, and enhance quality in electronics manufacturing.

A major focus of the event will be Viscom’s growing portfolio of AI solutions. Combining intelligent algorithms with precise 3D measurements, and high-resolution image processing, these technologies help manufacturers automate complex inspection tasks and achieve consistently reliable results.

Intelligent inspection routines, intuitive software, and AI-powered solutions minimize operator’s effort while maintaining consistent inspection quality across shifts and changing production volumes. Viscom’s AI capabilities include automated defect detection, such as void detection, AI-assisted evaluation at the verification station, and AI-supported programming with vAI ProVision.

vAI ProVision: A Smarter Approach to Inspection Programming

One of the key innovations at SMTA Mexico will be vAI ProVision, an AI-assisted feature within Viscom’s vVision software designed to accelerate and simplify the creation of inspection programs.

Creating inspection programs manually can be time-consuming and requires specialized expertise. vAI ProVision significantly reduces this effort by automatically generating complete inspection programs based on the E-CAD data of the assembly. Drawing on Viscom’s extensive database of proven inspection strategies, refence data, and decision criteria, the software creates suitable inspection patterns using predefined templates and further optimizes them with AI.

The result is faster setup, reduced operator workload, and greater process reliability without compromising inspection depth. This is particularly valuable for manufacturers facing high product variety, frequent changeovers, and short product life cycles.

Vice President of Sales, at Viscom Inc., Juan Briceño states: “With vAI ProVision, we are taking an important step toward simplifying inspection programming and helping our customers respond faster to changing production requirements. At SMTA Mexico, we look forward to showing how these intelligent tools can deliver valuable benefits on the production floor.”

Advanced X-ray Inspection with the iX7059 Series

In addition to its latest AI innovations, Viscom will showcase its comprehensive inspection portfolio through its Digital Showroom.

A key highlight is the iX7059 Series, which delivers high-performance Inline X-ray Inspection for a broad range of applications, combining fast inspection speed and reliable performance with outstanding image quality. From compact assemblies with delicate structures and complex electronic modules to robust high-current components, the Series provides the flexibility needed to meet diverse inspection requirements and integrate seamlessly into a wide variety of production environments.

The iX7059 Series also supports fully automated handling of particularly large and heavy components, accommodating parts weighing up to 200kg and measuring up to 2 meters in length.

Attendees can also get more information about Viscom’s cost-efficient 3D inline inspection platform iS6052 series for AOI, SPI and CCI applications. Designed to meet demanding cycle-time requirements, the systems combine high inspection speed and performance with an attractive cost-performance ratio.

Connecting AI and Smart Factory

Another highlight will be Viscom’s vCONNECT, the company’s software platform for digital connectivity and process integration. Within this environment, the vAI Hub brings Viscom’s AI-based solutions together in one central platform, making it easier to integrate intelligent inspection capabilities into existing production workflows.

Visit Viscom Inc. at Booth: #343 during SMTA Mexico 2026, October 7-8, and discover how Viscom’s AI-powered software and advanced inspection systems can help make electronics manufacturing smarter, faster, and more reliable.
